BT-100 Series User's Manual
4. Recharge
BT-100/101
can be charged via USB cable or the external power adapter no matter the
power switch is set to on or off. Charging starts as the green LED turns
steady on, and is complete as the green LED turns off. Full recharge takes
about 4 hours when BT-100/101 is powered off. The device can work as usual
during charging

Via USB Port
Connect the DC plug of the USB power retrieving
cable to BT-100/101’s DC jack, and connect the USB A
type connector to the PC’s USB port

Via External Power Adapter
(Optional)
Connect the DC plug of the cable to BT-100/101’s DC
jack, and plug the power adaptor into an AC outlet

5.
Setting Application
Ensure the Bluetooth radio link between BT-100 and the receiver
is built. After setting changes are made, execute “Transmit” to
save the configurations to BT-100

Main Menu

File menu
contains 4 items: Default, Open, Save, and Exit.

Default:
Reset all configurable parameters to the default values.

Open:
Open the existing configuration file.

Save:
Save the current setting to file.

Exit:
Exit and close the application
Setting
Press “Accept” after making settings

Keyboard language
There are
“US” and “ALT Mode” selectable for keyboard interface |

General Parameter
Select
“Lower Case” (default) when the Caps Lock is off. Select “Upper Case
when the Caps Lock is on. While “Universal” is selected, the Caps
Lock status will be automatically detected |

Terminator
Terminator
is the code attached to the end of each barcode data.
The configuration here is for BT-100 only.
Note that setting the scanner’s terminator to “CR” is
necessary for BT-100’s data processing. Please set the
scanner’s terminator as “CR” by its manual.
Set the receiver’s terminator to “CR” if the application demands. |

Preamble & Postamble
Setting Preamble/Postamble
allows adding a prefix/suffix to each barcode.

Transmit
Executing Transmit is required after making any changes to save the
configurations to BT-100.

Selecting the proper COM port number is necessary with the
RS-232/USB232 interface receiver. Execute Start > Control Panel >
System > Hardware > Device Manager > Ports (Com & LPT) to identify
the port number.
