BT-100 Series User's Manual
Open-Pair Setting (for BT-101)
This setting should be
configured while pairing BT-101 with a new device for the first time. Here
the Bluetooth utility “Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator” is used as an example
to describe how to pair with a BT dongle connected to a PC. If other
Bluetooth utilities are used or pairing with PDA, mobile phones, or other BT
devices is required, please refer to the respective instructions.
| 1. Power
on the BT-101. Install the BT dongle on the PC. |
| 2. Scan
the pairing
code .ZXQYI to turn on the scanner’s Bluetooth radio
link. The scanner will emit a beep in five seconds and thus
the pairing procedures are activated. |

Execute Start
> Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections >
Bluetooth Devices to open the Bluetooth utility. |

4.
Options” to select the “Turn discovery on” box and then
click Apply |

| 5.
Click
“Devices” and click Add.
 |
| 6.
In the Add
Bluetooth Device Wizard, click to select the “My device is
set up and ready to be found” box and then click Next.

| 7. Double Click
the BT_SCANNER
icon to add.

| 9. Select
“Use the passkey found in the documentation.” Enter the pin
code 1234 and press Next.
 |
| 8.
Click Finish on the Completing the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard
window. The red LED of BT-101 will turn steady on indicating
that the Bluetooth radio link is built.

| 9. Select “COM
Ports” to view the scanner’s virtual (Incoming) COM port. |
